Jonathan Ortmans
President @Global Entrepreneurship Network
Jonathan Ortmans is the founder and president of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), an organization that provides a platform of programs and initiatives to help new firms start and scale within one global entrepreneurial ecosystem. GEN is headquartered in Washington, DC, but operates in 170 countries where it works to foster healthier local ecosystems. Ortmans launched GEN’s cornerstone initiative, Global Entrepreneurship Week, in 2008. As an economist, Ortmans worked on Capitol Hill and served as CEO of a health care and trade policy think tank. His experience includes two successful startup exits. He currently serves on the Board of the Center for American Entrepreneurship in Washington, DC, and the Board of Directors of the Center for Entrepreneurship in Moscow. Ortmans speaks and writes about high-growth entrepreneurship regularly and has emerged as a global strategist for healthier ecosystems for entrepreneurs around the world.
Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno

Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo as Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy in December 2020. Sandiaga Uno is known as a big businessman with various experiences serving as directors of a number of companies in various sectors. His political career began when he was sworn in as Deputy Governor of DKI. During his time as deputy governor, he intensively made programs aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in Jakarta residents. He also actively encouraged DKI Jakarta to become a halal tourist destination. At the beginning of his leadership at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Sandiaga Uno brought the concepts of innovation, adaptation, and collaboration. He earned an academic degree in Bachelor of Business Administration from The Wichita State University, US, and graduated with Summa Cum Laude predicate. Wensheng Wu

Wensheng Wu graduated from Peking University, is currently the General Manager of GREATWALL STRATEGY CONSULTANTS. Mr. Wu is a well-known consultant and expert, he has been committing himself to research and consultancy in Business Strategy and Management, Regional Development Strategy and Innovation, Knowledge Management, as well as Smart City. Mr. Wu is also the strategic consultant and independent director at a number of private and public companies and a member of the expert group under the Ministry of Science and Technology. Mr. Wu has devoted himself to the study and publication of unicorn companies and gazelle companies of China for 5 years. Mr. Wu has years of research and exploration experience focusing on innovation and international science and technology cooperation and keeps providing strategic consulting services to innovation subjects. Rocio Fonseca is the Executive Director of InnovaChile, former Executive Director of Start-Up Chile. Biotechnological Engineer with a Master's Degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and a Master's Degree in Science in Management from MIT. Rocio has been highlighted as one of the 100 women leaders in Chile, as well as one of the 100 most influential people in the world in Digital Government, an award given by the Apolitical Group, a global network from the United Kingdom.
Kate Cornick

Kate is the CEO of LaunchVic, the Victorian Government’s startup agency and has considerable experience in technological innovation across startups, academia, corporates and government. An experienced non-executive director, Kate is currently a member of the Charles Sturt University Council and is a member of the auDA Board. Prior to her current roles, Kate led the development of a human resources technology startup through a listing on the ASX. She held the position of Senior Telecommunications Adviser and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy and has also worked as a General Manager at NBN Co. Kate Cornick undertook her PhD in optical telecommunications at the University of Melbourne.
Esam Al-Thukair

Esam Al-Thukair has been the Vice Governor Entrepreneurship of Small and Medium Business Authority since 2017 with more than 18 years of experience in Entrepreneurship, Banking, and the private sector. In the past, he worked as Chief Investment Officer of a family business in the manufacturing and SME industry. Mr. Esam established a number of startups and was co-founder of others in Tech, Food and Social. He is a mentor and coach for several universities and incubators. Esam Althukair holds a double Master's degree and got his bachelor in Information System from King Fahad University and Minerals.

Mark Anthony Thomas is the president of the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance, responsible for the 10-county region’s business investment strategy and advancing partnerships to drive catalytic development and talent attraction. Mark previously served in economic development leadership roles in New York and Los Angeles with more than two-decades of experience crafting and executing economic growth strategies and cross-sector collaboration. He chairs the Power of 32 Development Fund and serves on boards for NAIOP (Pittsburgh), FUSE Corps, and the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority. Mark is a graduate of MIT (MBA), Columbia University (MPA), and the University of Georgia.

He is currently also Director Digital Technology & Macro Strategy at Macro Advisory Partners in London and New York and Edge Fellow at Deloitte Centre for the Edge, where he advises companies and the European Commission on their digital innovation strategies. Gamuchirai Mutezo is the Chief Operations Officer at 22 ON SLOANE. She oversees the Startup Campus' overall operations as well as spearheading the organization's Strategic Planning and assisting Programmes and Business Development activities. She has 10 years of work experience underpinned by entrepreneurship, project management, renewable energy, and a keen focus on African cities as innovation labs for small businesses. Gamuchirai holds a B. Town and Regional Planning from the University of Pretoria, an MPhil Energy Poverty and Development from the University of Cape Town, a Project Management Certificate from the University of South Africa, and is currently registered at the University of the Witwatersrand for a DPhil.
